Advice.

Sometimes health and safety can seem confusing and overly bureaucratic. Sometimes it is difficult to know whether a requirement is a legal obligation or just a ‘nice to have’. At these times wouldn’t it be useful to have a friendly advisor to call on?

Balshaw Safety provides an advisory service for these occasions, so you can rest assured you are complying with the law, but not going ‘over the top’. It is a legal obligation* for all businesses to have a competent person to consult on matters of health and safety. Balshaw Safety will work closely with you to ensure all our legal obligations are met, leaving you to focus on your business.

Most of the time, health and safety requirements just boil down to good common sense, but for those times where there is doubt, Balshaw Safety is there for you.

* Regulation 7 of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 requires that “Every employer shall … appoint one or more competent persons to assist him in undertaking the measures he needs to take to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed upon him by or under the relevant statutory provisions…” (meaning, other health and safety legislation).
